I was looking at my last entry--that was in November after the Ole Miss ballgame. Wow! it's been awhile since I wrote in here.
Loki, I read your diary this morning--I am so very sorry for the loss of your little grandchild. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Last week I was on Spring break. It was absolutely wonderful! The weather has been great. I went to visit my brother in Louisana, I came home and planted all kinds of flowers in the flower bed and then I got in a visit with Junkmel and her mom. I must say I caught a severe case of Spring Fever last week that I just can't seem to shake, ya'll!
This week I have been cooking out on the grill practically every night. It has really been "trial and error" with the grill since I don't know what I'm doing. The grill itself is probably a whole diary entry. I got the grill for Christmas. My brother gave it to me. He asked me if I wanted gas or charcoal. I said charcoal. Well, he gives me a little charcoal grill (a very good name brand) but apparantly this grill was made for pigmys or midgets or something. He said he figured I wouldn't be cooking alot at a time so I didn't need a big one. Well, that just kinda ticked me off, 'cause I thought I might be single but I'm not a pigmy and I find it terribly uncomfortable to squat or kneel. And squatting over a grill is probably kinda dangerous for me since I might tumble and fall into the fire. Why do they even make those pigmy grills? Of course I didn't say anything like this to my brother. I thanked him for the nice grill--I hate to be so critical and unappreciative. I will enjoy the little half size grill. Next year if I am asked what I want for Christmas I guess I will have to be alittle more clear. Like for example, if I ask for a crock pot I should specify one gallon size as opposed to the minature 8 oz. crock pot. I take offense to these things because I think if I was married I wouldn't have gotten the pigmy sized grill. A married person would have gotten the "stand-up-and-cook" size grill. Oh well, I just should have been more specific.
Tonight I am gonna attempt cooking some chicken breasts. I have had the chicken marinating all day. I hope the chicken turns out better than the burgers. The hamburgers were so dry.
I have been watching most of the reality shows. Americ@n Id0l, Surviver,Biggest L0ser, Celebritty Appr@ntice. . .I guess that's all of the shows I've been watching lately.
Well, that's my up-date girls. I will try to write alittle more often.
